?Sharon Kay Brown, 75, of Marble Falls, Texas went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2021. Sharon was born on May 31, 1945 in Avon Park, Florida to Thomas Quimby (TQ) and Mary Katherine Brown. She spent the first years of her life in San Saba and Austin, Texas before settling in Marble Falls in 1958 where the family built a home on Arbor Lane. After attending school in Marble Falls, Burnet, and the Mary Lee School in Austin, Sharon began her independent life by moving into her own Arbor Lane home. She spent many years working in the family business at Brown's Cleaners.Sharon enjoyed spending time with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends. A favorite pastime was riding her red scooter up and down the street with the neighbor kids following behind on their bikes. She loved communicating with family and friends via email, Facebook, and even texting on her Jitter Bug phone. You can imagine the number of contacts she had in her address book! Something else Sharon was known for were her brownies. Wonder how many 100's of batches she gave to her loved ones.Sharon attended the LDS Church in Marble Falls and enjoyed volunteering in the children's area. She loved her church family and appreciated the care they gave her over the years. A favorite outing was her weekly trip to HEB where you could find her wearing an HEB shirt and nametag and riding a scooter. She looked forward to catching up with friends and helping folks find items in the store. You might say she was an honorary HEB employee. In late 2018 Sharon moved to Granite Mesa. Again, quite the people person, she became a greeter at the front door, sharing her sweet smile and giving directions to visitors. She also looked forward to outings with niece Mary Nunnally to Home Depot and Walgreens cruising in her wheelchair. As she became less mobile, friends and family could find her in her room listening to her favorite radio station, touching base with friends and family on Facebook, or texting and sharing pictures on her phone. Sharon's fondness for the Granite Mesa staff was great. Employees from other halls and departments frequently popped in to say hello. She definitely made them feel special asking how they were and checking in on their families.Sharon is survived by sister Rebecca and husband Stuart Nunnally, Marble Falls; brother Dale and wife Suzanne Brown, Marble Falls; brother Don Brown, Georgetown; and numerous nephews, nieces, and their children. She is preceded in death by her parents TQ and Mary Katherine Brown. The family will miss her greatly but rejoice in knowing where she is and thinking about the heavenly reunion taking place.Sharon's care entrusted to Cremation Advocates by Putnam, 206 Avenue H #204, Marble Falls, Texas 78654, 830-798-8413."There will be a day with no more tears,No more pain, no more fears. There will be a day when the burdens of this placeWill be no more, we'll see Jesus face to face."Jeremy Camp lyricsBorn: May 31, 1945Place of Birth: Avon Park, FLDeath: January 19, 2021Place of Death: Marble Falls, TX
