Sharon Ruth (Shari) Cosson, 72, passed away on March 11, 2025, in Flatonia, TX. Born on October 19, 1952 in Gonzales, TX, she was the daughter of Fred A Rinehart, Sr. and Alice Ruth Rinehart.
A 1971 graduate of Reagan High School in Austin, she began her career with the Post Office in Buda in 1984 and went on to become the Flatonia Postmaster until retiring in 2012.
Sharon was best known for her love of animals (except squirrels), woodworking, her amazing green thumb, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Her loving nature always made you feel like you were the most important person in the room.
Preceded in death by a daughter, Connie; her parents Fred A, and Alice Ruth Rinehart and two brothers, David Rinehart and Fred A. Rinehart, Jr., survivors include her husband Brad Cosson of Flatonia; daughters, Jamema Cosson of Dallas, and Brenda Kloesel and husband Rex of Weimar; grandchildren, Amethyst Cosson of Pflugerville, Huxton Kloesel and Hayes Kloesel of Weimar. She is also survived by brothers, Jimmy Rinehart and wife, Frances Rinehart, Donnie Rinehart and wife Susan, Robert Rinehart and wife Donna, and Jerry Rinehart and wife Patricia; numerous nieces, nephews and many other family members.
Memorial donations may be made in Sharon's name to Hospice of South Texas, St. Michael Catholic School in Weimar, or to charity of one's choice.
