Jeremy Cosson, 46, of Fort Atkinson passed away unexpectedly in his home on September 1, 2025.

He was born in Madison, raised in Kenosha and graduated high school from Oak Forest High School in Illinois. Jeremy returned to Wisconsin to play baseball at UW-Whitewater where he met his future wife and mother of his boys. He then transferred to Cardinal Stritch University to play baseball and graduated with a degree in business.

He worked at various banks in the community. He was most recently employed as a Compliance Officer at Greenwoods State Bank in Lake Mills. He was well respected by all the people he worked with and loved by the many of the people he helped personally and professionally.

He was active in the community supporting youth sports coaching many of his sons teams. His life was dedicated to supporting his family and raising his sons. Jeremy will be missed by all his loved ones and all the people whos lives he touched. Especially his three sons that he dedicated all his time and energy to.

He is survived by parents, Richard and Cindy Cosson of Florida; his sister, Lisa and her family of Illinois; his brother, Justin and his family of Kansas; his in-laws, Dale and Leslie Padfield of Jefferson; his beloved sons, Cade 22, Eli 20 and Liam 17 and his lifelong partner, Patience of Fort Atkinson.

Respecting Jeremy's wishes, there will be no funeral service.

Memorials can be sent to any location of Greenwoods State Bank for his boys. Checks can be made payable to The Jeremy Cosson Memorial Fund and will be used to support his sons as they move forward without him.

Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.
