Tracy Ann Branch, 62, passed away on August 20, 2025, after a courageous, hard-fought battle

with Pancreatic Cancer. Up until the end, Tracy maintained her love for family and friends.

Tracy was born on April 20, 1963, on Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California, to parents

Major Billy Branch Sr. (USMC Retired) and Kathleen Branch. Tracy later received a brother,

Billy Branch Jr.

Living in an active-duty military family, Tracy found her way to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she

married Wayne Murphy (later divorced) and had a daughter, Kelly. Tracy attended Cardinal

Stritch University, where she earned her nursing diploma.

In 1986, Tracy and Kelly moved to Texas. Tracy furthered her education by earning her

Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Tarleton State University. Tracy became a leader

among her professional peers, earning the title of emergency department charge nurse at John

Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. It was there that Tracy met George (Wes) Mourer. They

married and welcomed a son, Nicolaus Mourer.

Tracy loved music; she played piano and guitar and was a talented vocalist. She loved her

dogs and horses, but none more than her children and grandchildren.

Tracy was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Branch and ex-husband George (Wes)

Mourer.

Tracy is survived by her father Billy T. Branch Sr, wife Carolyne Gartman Branch of Comanche,

TX; brother Billy T. Branch Jr., wife Karin Branch, and daughter Elizabeth; of Corinth, TX

daughter, Kelly Honecker, husband Andrew and son Grady of Tolar, TX, and son Nicolaus

Mourer, wife Marion, and children Kenna, Mae, Silas, and Lucy of Tolar, TX.
