Jake was born May 2, 1985, in DeLeon TX to Wayne and Judy (Welch) Kennedy. After school, he owned his own business in construction. He enjoyed his down time by hunting, fishing, hunting arrow heads, and spending time with the family.
Jake is survived by son, Branden Kennedy, daughter, Ashlyn Kennedy both of Comanche, wife Nicole Kennedy of Oklahoma; brother, Cody Johnston, Remi Smith of Comanche, Wade Kennedy of Rhome, Dalton Fowler wife Ashley of Early; mother, Judy Welch of Comanche, father, Wayne Kennedy and wife Shayla of Early; grandmother, Florence Welch of Comanche; nephew, Caleb Johnston and niece, Hope Johnston both of Comanche, great nephew Josiah Johnston; nieces, Mattie & Maren Fowler; grandparents, Bill & Dessa Thomas of Zephyr; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by Cotton Welch (Papa) of Comanche; Herb Kennedy (Pa) of Proctor, Martha Head (Nanna) of Comanche.
