Sharon is also survived by 3 sons: Chris I Hartman, Emmett S. Craigmiles, Kyle E. Fuller, 1 brother Les and Lynn Strader, 3 sisters: Patty Hopp, Cathy J. and Bill Nunn, Karen and Jay Schertz, 2 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter.
Sharon was a 1984 graduate of Easton High School and went on to work for Franklin Life and then for 17 years worked for Dollar General with the last 10 years as manager. She enjoyed working outside enjoying the sunshine, baking and being with family.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City, burial to follow at Mason City Cemetery. Visitation will be held the same day from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Mason County Pets Without Parents. Online condolences can be left at www.hurleyfh.com. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of the arrangements.

I miss Sharon so much. I liked her from the moment I met her. She was so helped us so often in her position in the Dollar Store. She became an instant friend. She was a joy to be with. We had a lot of smiles and memories and I wished we could have had many more....
