Sharon Elaine Dills

Sharon Elaine Dills was born October 17th, 1962, in St Joseph, MO, to James and Margaret (Marty) Pettijohn. She passed away Friday, August 5th, 2022, in Springfield, MO, from natural causes.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, James Pettijohn; and her infant daughter, Carissa.
Sharon was most proud of her family: daughter, Carissa Pyrlik; and sons, Dillon Pirkle, Finn Pirkle, and Nathan (Kenna) McClellan; two grandchildren, Kenneth McClellan and Ian McClellan. She is also survived by her mother Marty McClellan; sisters, Annette Woolf, Jami-Sue Snead, Kathleen Gruber; and brothers Richard McClellan, and Doyle McClellan.
Sharon would frequently say the best thing that ever happen to her was becoming a mother. She dedicated her life to being a home maker and raising her children. Sharon was someone who always maintained her faith in Christianity and greatly enjoyed gospel music. Her favorite pastime activities were watching movies and playing video games with those close to her.

The family will be holding a private celebration of life and spreading of ashes at the same location where her daughter Carissa rests. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
