Eid, Sharon Kay (High) age 74, Plymouth, MN, passed away peacefully from cancer surrounded by her husband and daughter on July 28, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren C. and Pearl (Oldstedt) High, and nephew, Brian High. She is survived by her husband Barry Eid and Sharon's daughter, Tara Rocklin (Mike) of Ely, MN; her brother Daniel High (Sandy) and nephew Scott High all of Duluth. She is also survived by her stepchildren James Eid (Kim) of Louisiana, Francine Eid of Woodbury, Christine Eid Schwantes (Scott) of Plymouth, Steven of New Hope, and Daniel of California. She is survived by her grandchildren Kayla, Brenna and Devin; Vincent, Logan, Chase, Brennan and Luke; Alex and Timothy; Carolina and Isaac. Sharon was born in Duluth, MN, on May 1, 1950. She graduated from Central High School in 1968 and attended St. Scholastica. She worked for Harcourt Brace & Co. for 29 years, starting as a night typist. retiring as Divisional Director. She also retired as Administration Director for OECS, Inc. Sharon enjoyed tap dancing from 3 years old through high school, invited to appear in 1966 at the dedication of the Duluth arena. Sharon enjoyed rollerblading, biking, playing tennis, and traveling. She enjoyed spending time with her family; most of all with her daughter Tara. She loved doing art projects and spending time with the grandchildren. She was a wonderful host at events at home & always went above and beyond to make everyone feel special and loved. She had a special group of high school friends that stayed close all of these years. She touched everyone she came in contact with and will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations to the American Cancer Society or NC Little Hospice Edina.
