Sharon S. Eiland, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend, passed away on September 25, 2025, standing as a testament to resilience and joy throughout her life. Born on November 8, 1954, in Palatka, Florida, Sharon's spirited approach to life and unwavering dedication to her family truly defined who she was.
Known for her fun-loving nature, Sharon welcomed all those around her with open arms. Her sharp wit and sassy humor added warmth and laughter, making every gathering a good time. One of her greatest joys was the outdoors, where she relished engaging in various activities, from lakeside adventures to cheering on teams at softball games. Sharon cherished precious moments spent with her family, valuing those connections above all else. Her love for dogs, whether her own or others, reflected her kind-hearted spirit and her nurturing inclinations.
Sharon's proudest accomplishment was being a devout family member. She was a true caretaker, ensuring that her loved ones felt supported and valued. Her legacy will be continued by her living family, which includes her two sons, Ryan Pierce (Lindsay) and Brent Pierce. She is also survived by her brothers, David Eiland (Kathy), and Timmy Eiland; her sisters, Karen Eiland and Toi Eiland; as well as her grandchildren, Brilee and Taylor. In addition, she leaves behind her niece, Brandy, and her great-niece, Summer, all of whom will carry on her memory in their hearts.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Sharon Eiland, and her brother, Tommy Eiland. She faced her challenges with grace and determination, never wavering in her commitment to enjoy life to its fullest. The memories of her strength, love, and laughter will forever remain etched in the minds of all who had the privilege to know her. Sharon S. Eiland will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and joy will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
