With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of, Trey Lee Heimbuch, who graced this world on October 1, 2025, only to leave us the same day. Trey was born at Shands Gainesville and his brief time with us, though fleeting, has left an indelible mark on the lives of many.

Trey was welcomed into this world with tremendous love by his mother, Ainslee McMinn, and his father, Cody Heimbuch. He was surrounded by the warmth of his family, his grandparents, Emily McMinn and Andrew Owen, along with Melissa and Craig Heimbuch, who embraced him tenderly, each showering him with love.

In addition to his immediate family, Trey was cherished by a close network of aunts and uncles: Chloe (Alex) Hickman, Nomie (Jordan) Ault, Presli McMinn, Colby Heimbuch (Sarah), Crystal Heimbuch (Chase), and Jaylea Williams, as well as his great-grandparents, Dwight and Dianna Seay, Farrell and Geraldine Feagle; and great-aunts Haley (R.J.) Woodard and Kristi J.D.) Whittle. Each one of them eagerly awaiting his arrival.

Though his time with us was far too short, Trey was a pure and innocent spark of light, reminding us to treasure every fleeting moment. He will always be remembered for the love that he inspired, and the comfort he brought to our hearts.

As they navigate through this heart-wrenching sorrow, the family asks for donations to be made for funeral and headstone expenses. Payments can be given to Archer-Milton Funeral Home or into an account for Ainslee at Campus Bank.

A private graveside service will be held for Trey under the care and direction of Archer-Milton Funeral Home.
