Sharon E. Fish, 78, of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Frankfort on March 13, 1947, to George and Louise (Hunt) Padgett. She married Larry Wayne Fish on June 9, 1990, and he survives.
Sharon was a graduate of Frankfort High School in 1965. She then attended Indiana Business College. She worked for Oxy-Tech, Edward Jones, Dental Assistant for Jose Ramos and other dentist and was the Co-owner of Fish Sew and Vac. She was a member of New Hope Church, former member of Hope Church of Frankfort for over 60 years, and a member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority. Sharon enjoyed sewing, hunting, fishing, and boating. Above all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband of 35 years, Sharon is survived by her children, Greg (Alicia) Brown, Shannon (Larry) Bright, Becky (Greg) Garrison, Heather (Dennis) Coomer, Larry (Tina) Fish, Jr., and Rhonda (Shawn) Johnston; a brother, Walter (Kathy) Padgett; grandchildren, Brett Lanning, Kattie (Brandi) Parris-Cook, Cameron (Ashley) Davis, Brianna (Prestin) Hillman, Shelbi (Gary Richards) Brown-Oppelt, Madelyn Campbell, Payten Brown, Natalee Brown, Brookelynn Brown, Derek (Kelsey) Thompson, Chase (Jacki) Thompson, Blake (Lauren Crick) Thompson, Alexandra (Donny Wessell) Thompson, Jessi (Brandon) Horton, Danielle Fish, Matt Burkhalter, Abby Burkhalter; Braden Worth; twenty-six great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Jacob.
Visitation will be held, Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Pastors Shan Sheridan and Paul Whitaker will officiate, and burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Sharon’s honor to New Hope Church.
