Sharon Lynn Ritter Hall, known to her friends as, “Shoney” passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at her home at the age of 57 years. She was born on July 21, 1968 in Lee County to Arthur Walker Ritter and Ruby Paulette Clark McGath. Living most of her life in the Nettleton area, she worked in the furniture area as a quality control expert prior to her retirement. Sharon is married to Jerry Hall and enjoyed camping, working in her yard, and shopping. Most enjoyable was her time spent with her family especially her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Nettleton with Rev. Samuel John Raper officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery.
In addition to her husband, Jerry Hall, she is survived by one daughter, Heather Lindsey (Joshua), one son, John Deaton; two step-sons, Vince Hall (Shayne) and Hunter Hall (Caitlin); 7 grandchildren, Jace, Jonah, Heidilynn, and Jagger Lindsey, Mackenzie Deaton, and Blakely and Sawyer Hall; two brothers, Mark Ritter (Melissa) and Greg Thrasher (Heather); two sisters, Deidra Cato and Melena Holcomb; her best friend, Kellie Palmer Wouldridge; and a host of niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Gary Wouldridge, Jason Bynum, Josh Lindsey, Shawn Ritter, David Carroll, and Vince Hall.
Visitation will be on Monday from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
