Sharon K. Johnson, 83, of Frederic, MI was welcomed into the Kingdom of God on June 17, 2025 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Grayling, MI on October 23, 1941 to George C. and Elnora (Barber) Lodge. Sharon lived most of her life in Frederic, MI and graduated from Frederic High School in 1960. She was a business owner of a former local restaurant and waitressed there for many years. She was an avid sports fan of U of M, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Lions. She also loved to attend the local Grayling High school Sporting events where she had a special seat just for her. She has been a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Frederic, MI.
Survived by children, Sharon K. (Bruce) Smith of Hood River, OR, Candace L. Schreiber of Grayling, MI, and Maurice L. Alma, Jr. of Frederic, MI; step-children, Terrie (Mark) Kiffer of Prescott, AZ, Charles (Veronica) Johnson of Surprize, AZ, and Chris (Susan) Johnson of Kapolei, HI; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles W. Lodge of Fowlerville, MI, and Phillip J. Lodge of Lorian, OH; sister, Mary B. Rouse of Coldspring, TX; along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Clifford A. Johnson; son, Bradley G. Alma; great-granddaughter; Elnora K. Kersey; sisters, Carol Bancroft and Karen Kritcher; son-in-law, David Schreiber; and parents George and Elnora Lodge.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the First Baptist Church of Frederic. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The memorial service will begin at 11:00 am. Sharon and her husband Clifford will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery in Frederic, MI.
