Sharon R. Logan (Harcum) was born in Woodbury, New Jersey, to the late Calvin Harcum Sr. and Maxine Harcum (Williams). She departed this life on Friday, September 5, 2025. Sharon was raised in Woodbury alongside her siblings Calvin Jr., Garland, Donna, and Carla, where she attended Woodbury High School and was active as a cheerleader, student leader, and advocate for her peers. After graduation, she moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where she later met and married the love of her life, Gregory K. Logan. From this union they had three children-Greg, Geoffrey, and Candice-who became her greatest joy. She was also the proud grandmother of Camille, Jerome Jr., Ayanha, Xavier, Gerry III, Logan, and London Mei Logan, each of whom brought her immense happiness and pride.
Sharon lived a full and creative life, and in her later years retired after a career marked by dedication and service to others. She was known for her love of gardening, reading, crafting, and her special gift for nurturing both people and plants. With a generous heart, she became a second mother to many in the community and created a home filled with love, laughter, and welcome for all who entered.
Faith and family were the foundation of Sharon's life. A devoted member of Set the Captives Free Outreach Center, she shared her strong belief in God and instilled those values in her loved ones. She never missed an opportunity to support her family. Sharon's legacy is one of resilience, kindness, and unwavering devotion. She will be remembered as a light to her family and community, leaving behind a lasting imprint of love.
