Sharon Kay Lowry 81, of Indianapolis, IN. passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Sharon was born on August 21, 1944, to Josephine and Virgil Day.
Sharon worked for the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center for 32 years and for Hindle Bowl for 5 years.
Sharon is survived by her children; John E Lowry, Josephine K Lowry, Jacqueline S (Jason E) Heim, James C (Dawn M) Lowry, grandchildren; Sarah J Lowry, Edward M Lowry, Angelea M Parks-Shelton, Zachary T Miller, Alexander C Lowry, Kameron B Lowry, Solomon E Lowry, Sean A Rott, Seralin G Rott, and sibling; Doris Lyng
Sharon is preceded in death by her husband; Edward L. Lowry, siblings; Joann Vaught, Mary Kirby, Charlene Cloud, Ernest Day and parents; Josephine Day and Virgil Day.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, with visitation starting at 1:00 pm and service at 2pm at the New Apostolic Church, 5665 N Post Rd. Suite #100, Indianapolis, IN 46216
