Sharon B. (Fritz) Minnick

Saginaw, Michigan

Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away Thursday, August 28, 2025, at her home with her family at her side. Age 83 years. The daughter of the late Lawrence and Blanche (Judson) Fritz, Sharon was born November 3, 1941, in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to James Robert Minnick, her loving husband of 62 years, on November 7, 1959. He predeceased her October 24, 2021. Sharon was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary. She enjoyed sewing wedding dresses, reading, crossword puzzles and traveling.

Surviving to cherish her memory are one daughter and three sons, Lauri (Mic) Brown, Saginaw; James R. Minnick II, Saginaw; Michael (Cindy) Minnick, Orting, Washington; Patrick Minnick, Saginaw; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Austin (Joyce) Fritz, Saginaw; her brother-in-law, Gary Minnick, Bullock Creek; several nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Funeral Service will take place 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025 at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. Frank Voris, O.F.M. Cap. will officiate. Honoring Mrs. Minnick's wishes, cremation will follow with private burial of cremains in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
