Sharon L. Murray, Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2026. Age 92 years. Daughter of the late George and Marie (Rabie) Flynn, Sharon was born August 1, 1933 in Saginaw, Michigan, where she resided all her life. Sharon married Roy "Bud" Murray, her loving husband of 74 years, on August 21,1950. He predeceased her February 16, 2025. Sharon was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving to cherish her memory are two daughters and one son, Sherry (Dave) Gowan, Mike (Sara) Murray, and Shannon Murray and her husband Dave Wisniewski; seven grandchildren, Brandy (Jason) Eichinger, Shannon (Dave) Schram, Mick (Kate) Murray, Brendan (Celicia) Murray, Patrick Wisniewski, Seamus (Colleen) Murray; 10 great-grandchildren, Ally and Bella Senkowski, Landon, Nellie and Piper Murray, Brody and Brecken Schram, Elowen, Conall and Ciaran Murray; many nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jillian Murray and a brother, Ronald Flynn.
Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate with a private burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home, where the family will be present on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Humane Society.
