Sharon Leah Nelson, 67, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in Roswell, NM. Please take a moment to share a kind thought or memory with Sharon's family at www.andersonbethany.com.
There will be a Memorial Service at 12 Lost Trail Rd, Roswell, NM on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 4:00 pm MST with Pastor Tim Arlet officiating.
On September 6, 1956, Sharon was born to Robert and Mary Lou Bowling in Memphis, TN. She attended Frayser High School, where she graduated. She married Charles Richard Nelson on June 2, 1976, in Memphis, TN. Sharon was a devoted homemaker, or as she called it, a household technician in the Department of War and Finance. Sharon enjoyed playing the piano, sketching, collecting stamps and antiques. She also had an extensive book collection that she loved to share with her beloved husband and best friend. She will be dearly missed by her family.
Sharon is survived by her spouse, Charles Richard Nelson; children: Dori (Adam) Cameron, and Charles (Autumn) Nelson; grandchildren: Danielle, Adam II (AJ), Alexander, and Christapher; great grandchild, Delilah; as well as her beloved golden retriever, Wally;
Sharon is proceeded in death by both parents; Robert and Mary Lou Bowling; brothers: Robert Bowling Jr, and David Bowling; and grandson, Benjermin Nelson.
Sharon's tribute was written in her honor by her son and daughter.
