Sharon Nystrom

Sharon A. Nystrom, age 69 of Litchfield, MN died on Thursday November 14, 2024 at Bethesda Grand in Willmar, MN. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday November 22, 2024 at Johnson Hagglund Funeral and Cremation in Litchfield, MN. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Interment will be held at Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN.

Sharon Ann Nystrom, the daughter of Alford and Lucille (McGenise) Johnson, was born in Litchfield, MN on August 4, 1955. She received her education in Litchfield and was united in marriage to James Nystrom on January 20, 1973 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Sharon was a worked at the nursing home in Litchfield as a CNA, caring for people in Litchfield her entire career. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and enjoyed baking, cooking, going out to eat, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Sharon is survived her daughter Renee Nystrom of Litchfield; grandchildren Dean (Crystal) Nystrom, Katelyn (Jay) Snegosky, Jacob Ervasti and Jade Bowman.; and sisters Marilyn Dvorak and Beverly Schmitz. She was preceded in death by her parents Alford and Lucille and her husband James Nystrom.
