Sharon Kay Rainwater 74, of Logan, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
She was born February 25, 1951. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Claude “Allen” Rainwater, and her niece, Dreama K. Adams. Sharon was survived by two sons — Steven Michael Duty and Donald Gary Workman (Marlena); her best friend and sister, Shirley Adams; two great nephews, Jonathan “Jon” Adams, and Darren “Dee” Adams; and one niece, Missy Adams. Sharon enjoyed her family and making memories with them. She enjoyed her country music and special times with her sister.
The family would like to thank Dignity Hospice (Rachael Woody) for their care and support. Heaven surely gained our brightest star.
She has been cremated and the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home, Inc. of Switzer, WV.
