Sharon Lee Salley (Allen) passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, at the age of 77, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on May 10, 1948, in Southern California to Gordon Emerson Allen and Margaret Emily Healy Allen, Sharon grew up in Fullerton and Downey. After graduating from Downey High School in 1966, she attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. It was there that she met a young Air Force captain, James Ronald "Ron" Salley, at an event at Kirtland Air Force Base. They married in 1968, beginning a lifelong partnership built on deep devotion and mutual support.

During their years in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sharon and Ron welcomed three daughters: Jennifer, Katherine, and Christine. Sharon devoted herself to raising her children with patience, love, and encouragement.

In the early 1980s, the family moved to St. Louis, Missouri. There, while raising her daughters, Sharon returned to school and earned a degree in Physical Therapy from Maryville College. She went on to build a career that reflected her compassion and steady nature.

Sharon and Ron later lived in the Seattle area before eventually returning to Albuquerque, the place where their story first began. In retirement, Sharon volunteered through church and community activities and remained a steady presence to those around her.

Ron passed away on October 31, 2025, just weeks before her. Sharon's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer, Katherine, and Christine, and by her six grandchildren: Alex, Margaret, Dominic, May, Chloe, and Elizabeth.
