Sharon Snyder Obituary
Born December 23, 1949 in Cumberland, MD, Sharon was the daughter of the late Joseph Jolley and Evelyn (Burns) Jolley. She was also preceded in death by her brother: Michael Jolley; and a granddaughter: Kayla Thompson.
Sharon dedicated most of her years to raising three children. She created some of the perfect Holiday memories with her skills at sewing homemade Halloween costumes and with her skills at baking the perfect Holiday treat.
After all her children became adults, she entered the world of work, giving many years to Value City and PNC Bank in Cumberland.
After retiring, she could finally spend some time doing the things she loved. Her passion was reading, particularly books by Janet Evanovich and James Patterson. She had a love for knitting and loved making family and friends scarves, Christmas stockings, and blankets. Multiple generations of family and friends have received every one of these special gifts.
Sharon is survived by her husband: David Snyder; daughters: Tammy VanMeter and husband Dwayne; and Stacy Black and husband Chuck; son: Michael Snyder and wife Diana; sister: Diane Jolley; brother: Joseph Jolley and wife Joy; brother-in-law: Jim Jolley and wife Denise; and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Sharon was cremated and services will be held at a later date.
Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A. is assisting the family.

Sharon was an angel in human form, she was too good for this place. God promoted her, and she got her wings. She'll be watching over all of us, and will be our guardian angel for the rest of our lives. Always remember her smile and look for small signs she will be around. We will miss you so much sweetheart!
