Sharon worked for nearly 20 years as a school bus driver for the Poway School District. Sharon enjoyed painting and gardening, filling the backyard with beautiful plants and flowers. With an interest in genealogy Sharon spent over 20 years gathering family history and compiling extensive records. She helped Doug, who was adopted, locate his biological family. At the time of her passing Sharon was survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Douglas Stratton of Poway, CA; daughters Sinclair Stratton of San Diego, CA and Deanne Stratton of San Diego, CA; brother Charles (Nancy) Thompson of Portland, OR and grandson, Ry. She was preceded in death by her son, James Stratton in 1989.
