Sharon Elaine (Hubbard) Stroman, 77, of Ore City, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at home with her family by her side. She was born on March 21, 1947, in Gilmer, TX to the late Doyle Hubbard and Ozell (Ellison) Hubbard. The day after she graduated from New Diana High School, Sharon married Billy Stroman in Linden, TX on May 28, 1965.
Sharon worked as a cashier, spending over 20 years working at Catfish Village in Ore City, as well as cashiering at several other different stores. She was a hard worker who was someone that you could confide in. Above all, Sharon was caring and understanding, always willing to put other’s needs in front of her own needs and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Billy Stroman; sons, Kyle and his wife, Chantelle Stroman and Marty Stroman; grandson, Maddox Ray Stroman; sister, Annette Isaac; brother, Darrell Hubbard, as well as her extended family.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Ozell Hubbard; sister, Dale Lyles and her grandson, Jesse Stroman.
A graveside service for Mrs. Stroman will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Walnut Creek Cemetery in Diana. A visitation will be held on Monday evening, September 23, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Croley Funeral Home in Diana.
