Sharon Udenberg, 87, Two Harbors, died Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Agate Bay Assisted Living.
She was born October 11, 1938 to Albert and Lorelle (Houle) LaBonne in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and moved to Two Harbors with her parents and twin sister as an infant. She had lived in Two Harbors since that time. In 1956 she graduated from high school and married Eugene “Sonny” Udenberg. When her youngest child went to school, Sharon went to work as a dietary aide and later head cook at Two Harbors High School for nearly 30 years. During her “retirement” she worked for several years at Culver’s Restaurant.
Sharon was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
In her younger years, she enjoyed knitting and quilting.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sonny; a brother, Gary LaBonne; sons, Thomas and Greg; and grandchildren, Sarah and Zachary.
She is survived by her children, Timothy (Kathy), Todd (Nancy), Judy (Steve), Michael (Laurie) and Barbara; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; her twin sister, Karen Olsen; a brother, Gregg (Leslie) LaBonne; a sister-in-law, Donna LaBonne; and several nieces and nephews
Sharon’s family would like to thank the staff of Agate Bay Assisted Living for the compassionate care they provided for the past 2 years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Two Harbors. Lunch will follow at the Moose Lodge.
