Sharon Vargas

Sharon Vargas, 72, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, NJ on April 8, 1953 to parents Earl and Margaret Stout. Sharon retired after more than 20 years as a Senior Claims Clerk for the State of NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Sharon loved trips to the Poconos with her family, yearly trips to Seaside where she loved to walk the boardwalk, she also enjoyed frequenting the Columbus Flea Market where she stocked up on goods from the Amish market. She loved nothing more than being a grandmother to her grandson Julian. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Margaret (Corrado) Stout; and her brother Eric Stout.She is survived by her loving husband, Pedro Vargas; her son Pedro "Tony" Vargas and wife Sarah Vargas; her cherished grandson, Julian Vargas; her five siblings, Earl Stout, Jr., Susan McCulley, Edward Stout, Shirley and husband Rick Abrams, and Sandra Stout Stull and husband Jeffrey Stull.Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.Cremation was held privately.
