Wichita, Kansas - Sharon Kay Webster, 81, of Wichita, KS, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Cozine Life Events Center, 11500 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67206. Sharon was born in Wichita, KS on August 28, 1943, to the late Helen Henrietta (Jones) and Eugene Paul Christian. She graduated from Andover High School and later received an education in nursing. Sharon worked as surgical nurse at St. Joseph until her first daughter was born and later returned to nursing after her children got bigger. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church for many years and was very involved with the music committee as well as teaching Sunday School. On August 24, 1968 she married James Emerson Webster in Central Baptist Church. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Shelley Webster-Johnson; brother, Richard Christian; cousins, Suzanne and John Frank. She is survived by: daughter, Stephanie Henke and husband Eric of Wichita, KS; son in law, Van Johnson; grandchildren, Keaton Henke (Fiona Halley), Timmerie Henke, and Joshua Johnson; sisters in law, Nancy Christian and Sharron Webster; cousin, Patsy Hoeffner and husband Kenneth; nieces and nephews, Cindy and Julie Christian, Jeff and Angela Christian, Erick and Jessica Webster, and Layla Webster.
