Wanda Lee Malaby of Bartlesville, OK passed away peacefully Saturday, July 26,2025. Wanda was born on October 19, 1941, in Sheldon, MO to Clell E. Rider and Henrietta (Bullock) Rider. She began school in Andover, KS and moved several times throughout her childhood. Her family moved back to Andover, KS where she graduated High School. Right after High School she married Larry Stumpff and went to work as a secretary for Chevrolet Motor Division in Wichita, KS. They had three children together. They moved to Bartlesville in 1965. Wanda enjoyed sewing and was part of the Home Extension Club where she won many ribbons for her sewing. Wanda was a member of Adams Blvd Church of Christ formerly Woodland/6th and Dewey Church of Christ. Wanda spent many years taking staying home to take care of her children. Then in 1978 she began working at 1st National Bank in Bartlesville. Her first job there was training the public how to use the very first ATM machine in Bartlesville. While at the bank, she also worked as teller. Wanda retired after 28 years of Service from Arvest Bank formerly Weststar/1st National Bank in 2007 as an Administrative Assistant for Sr Vice President and Sr Trust Officer. Her banking career was full of adventure. It was while working as a teller she met her second husband, Robert Malaby. During the T Boone Pickens takeover attempt of Phillips Petroleum Company, she hand delivered paper stock certificates to New York City via Phillips 66 Corporate Jet. Wanda enjoyed traveling and collecting and selling books. Most of all she enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, sister June Rickards and her husband Don, son Larry Stumpff Jr, and grandson Austin Stumpff. She is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughters Terri Nichols of Bartlesville, OK, and Traci Estes and her husband Sean of Bartlesville, Ok. Four beloved grandchildren: Casey Duncan and husband Kevin of Stillwater, Ok, Rocheal Stumpff of Jenks, Ok, Noah Estes and wife Alyssa of Stillwater, OK, and Ty Estes of Bartlesville, OK. A special niece Karen Buzzard of Denham Springs, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Wanda's memory to The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Reasearch or the Parkinson's Foundation.
