Erin Kellye Magnuson June 27, 1983 – April 30, 2025 Erin Kellye Magnuson, 41, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on April 30, 2025. She was born in Wichita on June 27, 1983, to Deborah (Magnuson) Diaz and Erik Magnuson. She is survived by her beloved son, Brayden Marcus Cox, who was the center of her world. Erin loved Brayden fiercely, and her pride in him was constant and deep. He was truly her greatest joy. She is also survived by her parents; her brother, Spencer Diaz (Allison Rhoten); her aunt and uncle, Judith and Dale Lock; cousins, Keelie McCray (Jim), Cassadie Davis (Gary), and Tyler Lock (Melissa); and extended family including Casey Cox, Roxanne and Guy Cox, and Samantha and Jason Smith. Erin was preceded in death by her grandparents Helen and Charles Henry. More than grandparents, they were guiding lights in her life – steady, supportive, and deeply devoted to her. Their influence shaped who Erin became, and their bond remained one of the most meaningful parts of her story. She carried their love with her always. She graduated from Andover High School in 2001 and later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Baker University. She was a dedicated and hard-working professional who built a successful career. Erin took pride in her work and gave her all to every role she stepped into. Though her time here was short, Erin left an impression that will not be forgotten. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Andover Cemetery, 2438 N Andover Rd, Andover, KS. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established for Brayden Cox at Emprise Bank.
