Sharon Ann Zimmerman "Sherri" July 13, 1946- June 17, 2022
I lost my Nana yesterday. I am a bit lost for words as it was sudden. Such is life I suppose. I would like to remember her this way, happy, talking, crocheting, needlepoint stitching, baking, cooking, joking, and laughing. I was lucky enough to spend most of my childhood with my Nana and Papa, every weekend up north or going to the flea markets and Amish stores. Happy memories I will cherish my entire life. I can only hope to pass on her memory to my children one day and teach the things she taught me. I miss her, I wish dementia had not taken its toll on her and we would have had more time. My wish was for her to see me get married and at least we got her there. My heart grieves tremendously for my Papa, they have been together 61 years, they met when she was 15 and married at 18. What an amazing life with 2 boys and 4 grandchildren. She was one of the best moms and grandmothers. I do believe she is resting peacefully and is with my Aunt Helen and Aunt Carol and her parents. I know she is keeping an eye on us and smiling. She knows we will miss her but she will be with us every day till we meet again. I love you Nana.
