Sharron Rackham Davis
Forever in our hearts, Sharron Davis, 84, returned to her heavenly home on October 1, 2022, after bravely living with Alzheimer's Dementia for many years. Sharron was born February 16, 1938 in Teton, ID to C. Ray and Bessie Rackham. She was the last of three children. She married her high school sweetheart, S. Garry Davis, in Pocatello, Idaho and they were later sealed in the Idaho Falls, Idaho Temple in July 1959. Together they had a wonderful life and family with five daughters, one son, 23 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. Sharron and Garry enjoyed over 67 years of marriage.

Sharron was a caring, selfless and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Sharron's family and friends were everything to her. She served faithfully in many callings as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a deep testimony of the Savior. She enjoyed working in the Primary. She also served as Young Women President and Relief Society President. Additionally, she also taught early Morning Seminary for four years. That calling was a real blessing.

Sharron had lost her voice in surgery in West Lynn, OR in 1988 and could only whisper. Many years later Sharron was called as a Seminary Teacher. Three years into that calling in 1997 Sharron regained the total use of her voice. That was a miracle.

Sharron attended girls camp over 20 times. Sharron and Garry served two missions in Cambodia and continued serving in many different inner-city missions finishing up in the Lao/Thai Ward in September 2019.

Sharron enjoyed reading, music, knitting, making and sewing her children's clothes, laughing and spending time with her family and friends. She had a gift for making others feel special and would talk to people everywhere she went. She truly loved and cared about people and made many special friendships because of this. Everyone that knew her loved her and will truly miss her. Sharron was a beautiful person inside and out.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother James Rackham, Jenny Lou Rackham sister in law and sister Arnetta Rackham Baugh and Richard Baugh brother in law. She is survived by her husband S. Garry Davis; daughters Deborah Lee Hancock (Jay), Linda Kaye Holt, Kathryn Jane Haynes (Lee), Janet Sue Leth (Kelly), Shauna Marie Nash (Brian) and son Samuel Garry Davis Jr., (Sharon).

Funeral services will be held on October 11, 2022. Viewings for everyone will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2115 East Sublette Place from 9:00 -10:45 AM preceding the funeral at the same location. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held immediately following the service at Lake Hills Cemetery, Sandy, UT.

Thank you to the staff at Charter Health Care for their loving care and assistance during the last six months.
