Sharron Evans Rose, wife of Jerry Rose, mother of Heather Zickefoose (Shane), grandmother of John Howard Zickefoose (Laci), and great-grandmother of Rose Zickefoose, made her final bow on the stage of earthly life on Friday, December 19, 2025.
A professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer, Sherry lived a life of creative contribution to a beautiful conclusion. A published author, painter, costume and interior designer, she managed to balance art, family, and friends with love, respect, and honor.
A Celebration Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Beckley on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, with visitation at 1:00 p.m. and the service at 2:00 p.m.
Special thanks to the principal Pat and staff/faculty of BDTS; the angels of Beckley Hospice—especially Amber and Morgan; Beloved Care-Friends, Jenny, and Pam; with hugs to all who expressed condolences, brought food, or lifted up prayers. You all are loved.
