Sharyn Magaret Fitch Wise, age 77, of Erie, born in Syracuse, New York on April 7, 1948, passed away at home on October 25, 2025. She graduated from high school in Lawrence Park, Pennsylvania.
Sharyn worked at many restaurants around Erie and in Denver, Colorado, always making friends wherever she went. While working at Dominick's in Erie, Sharyn and her friend, Marianne Hammerman co-invented the famous meatball omelet. She enjoyed practicing reflexology and had a special connection with crystals and gemstones. She was known for her many stylish hats and for the love she had for her dear cat, Bridgette, who was by her side for over 18 years. Some of her happiest memories were with Don, especially the many Fourth of Julys they spent together on the roof of their East Avenue home, watching fireworks and celebrating life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard Walter Fitch Sr. and Charlotte Palmer Donaghue Fitch, and her son, Robert Wise.
She is survived by her beloved, Don Bevelacqua; her daughter-in-law, Gohar Wise, Greeley, Colorado; her grandchildren; Levon (Shantel) Petrosyan, Rita Wise, Erica Wise and great grandson, David Petrosyan. She is also survived by her loving brothers and sisters and their spouses, Bernard Walter (Marlene) Fitch, Jr., Erie, PA, Jeffrey Edward (Kathleen) Fitch, Kalkaska, MI, Craig Allen (Kim) Fitch, Erie, PA, Gayle Diane (Robert) Magee, Lexington, KY, Mark David (Arlene) Fitch, Erie, PA, Joyce Ellen (Robert) McCutchan, Winfield, WV, Cynthia Jean (Robert, dec.), Harrisburg, PA, Matthew Jay (Mary) Fitch, Erie, PA, Charlotte Kay (Michael) Morewood, Girard, PA, Kimberly Lynn (Thomas) Vest, Harrisburg, PA, Rob (Madelon) Capozziello, Asheville, NC, and Gretchen Capozziello, Weaverville, NC, numerous nephews and nieces, and dear lifelong friends, Jim & Julie Hamilton.
Services are to be held at the convenience of her family and arrangements will be made by John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., Erie, PA. Memorials can be made to AsceraCare Hospice Care, 12664 US-19 Unit 1(A), Waterford PA 16441.
