Funeral services for Shaundra Denise Hogg Rushing of Monroe will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 10, 2025, in Feazel Chapel at First West, West Monroe with Dr. Woods Watson officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., Thursday, October 9, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd.
Shaundra was born August 16, 1958 in Arkadelphia, AR and passed away October 7, 2025. She has been a resident of Monroe since 1968. She graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1986 with a B.S. in Accounting. She enjoyed working alongside her husband in business thru the years. Shaundra had a love for the Lord that was very apparent in meeting her. She served in many churches and organizations in the area and had a special place in her heart for Compassion International.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Eugene Hogg and Jo Clair Hogg. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Keith Rushing. Also left to cherish her memory are her brother Michael Hogg; children, Chris Rushing and wife Stephanie, Kevin Rushing and wife Michelle and Katie Rushing; grandchildren, CJ Rushing, Carter Rushing, Charlie Mae Rushing ,Michael Rushing, and Anna Lockeby. The pallbearers will be Adams Rodgers, Roberts Ables, Daniel Wood, CJ Rushing, Carter Rushing and Michael Rushing.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful employees at The Gardens at Georgia Tucker for their excellent care during her last days. Also, a big thanks to Allegiant Hospice for their care and concern.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
