Graveside services for Mr. David Grant Tucker, age 62, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Wagner officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe.
David was born February 2, 1963, in Monroe, LA, to Emily Ensminger Tucker Burrows and Bobby Glyn Tucker and passed away from an accident on September 29, 2025, in Monroe.
David grew up in Monroe and graduated from Neville High School in 1981. He went on to earn a B.A. in history from Northeast Louisiana University. David’s passion was history, and it was his love of history that led him to invest numerous years in research into his family’s genealogy. He worked in the oil and gas leasing industry performing title research.
David was an accomplished violinist and a lover of classical music.
David is survived by his mother, Emily Ensminger Tucker Burrows; father, Bob Tucker; sisters, Kathy Bogert (Bill) of Iowa, and Elizabeth Wust (John) of Minnesota; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
