He spent most of his childhood in Eaton and graduated from Eaton High School in 2020.
He enjoyed band in high school, particularly marching band. Yes, he joined a marching band playing an electric bass. We thought it was weird but it worked well and he rocked it. He greatly enjoyed music and art as these were the things that brought him peace and allowed him to showcase his wonderful talents. He and the gifts he carried with him through life will be greatly missed.
Shawn is survived by both his parents, his brother Joshua and his sister Megan, his niece Bridgete, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his partner Benji Howe. His wild little dog Ethel May is going nuts without him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his sister Dedra.
The person he became while playing music or drawing was a wonderful sight to behold. We will always remember his kind and caring ways and his wonderful sense of humor.
Arrangements are being handled by Lighthouse Family Mortuary.
On July 19th at 2:00 pm, a celebration of life will be held at Bethel Family Praise Center 19950 CR 78, Eaton, CO. In memory of Shawn, please dress in bright colors or funny but respectful t-shirts.
