Wrigley Doyle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Liming Family Funeral Home on Feb. 18, 2026.
Wrigley Doyle, of Ingalls, Indiana - the sweet Cane Corso/Lab mix girl of Jen and Vicki Doyle - crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

Wrigley was born in Butler, Indiana. She became part of Jen and Vicki's family on Thursday, April 14, 2016. Vicki shared, "She was our first pet together, and we named her after our first date - a Cubs game at Wrigley Field."

Jen described her personality as "very easygoing, very loving, and very smart."

One of the things Wrigley's family loved most about her was the way she would get the biggest smile when you walked through the door.

Her family shared one of their favorite memories: most recently, she discovered crabs while camping at the beach in Texas. She would try to grab them, but they would scare her. She would get one in her mouth, it would move, and she would freak out and throw it.

Wrigley was a very smart and sweet girl who could sit and shake with both paws.

She loved playing fetch and playing with her "babies" (toys). If she got you to throw it once, you were committed to at least 80 more throws - unless you told her to "take a break." When you did, she would go lay down and rest.

Wrigley had a favorite toy - specific pink and blue rubber bones that you could only get at one place.

She enjoyed cookies, bones from the butcher, and anything she could chew - edible or not.

Vicki jokingly shared, "We called her a 'walking wood chipper.' She chewed on and ate everything. She chewed up money once - we still have the half-eaten bill in a memory box. At our last house, Wrigley ate the bottoms of our wooden fence - every other panel. When we moved, we had to get a vinyl fence because of our 'walking wood chipper.' She was even chewing a stick right before she passed."

Wrigley enjoyed going on trips and exploring with her family in their RV. She traveled to over sixteen states - more than some humans have ventured to.

She loved everyone but was especially close to the kids and loved spending time with them.

Wrigley, also lovingly known as "Wriggers", "Wriggy," and Fat Head Wiggle Butt. brought so much love and happiness to her entire family. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.

In addition to Jen and Vicki, Wrigley will be sadly missed by her fur siblings: Izzy, Itty, and Hazel. She was preceded in death by her human sister, Mattie, and by her fur siblings Greta, Cara, Juniper, and Boy, who were waiting for her on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.
