Shawn De-An Foster

Shawn De-An Foster, age 61, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away at 4:35 pm on Thursday November 13, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born on April 16, 1964, in Columbia City, she was the daughter of Cecil J. and Mildred A. (Hursey) Harrison.
Shawn attended Columbia City Joint High School and then worked at several area factories. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, canning, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons Dean Slagal of Fort Wayne and Jeffrey Slagal of Warsaw; grandchildren Sydney Slagal, Lydia Slagal, Chevy Slagal, and Staci Slagal; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; companion Rex Barnhart of Paulding, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Gary Foster and Bob Harmon, and siblings Cecil Harrison, Debbie Harrison, Karen Harrison, Sherry Harrison, Malana Alvey, and Shannon Harrison.
Private services were held for Shawn's family.
