Shawn was born December 26, 1978, in Burley, Idaho, the son of Randy and Leona Greene. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He especially loved barbecues and spending time with his family - especially the grandchildren.
He leaves behind his father, Randy Greene; mother, Leona Greene Lewis (Clark); siblings, Jeremy Furgason and Rebecca Samson; his longtime companion, Devon Tamcke; Devon's mother, Dawn Brown; Devon's grandmother, Jean Hall; and others who he truly called his family, Laci Greene (Taner Day), Brooke Kisler (Jarek), Jordon Tamcke (Allie Gallegos), and Dylan Tamcke (Hanna Kolsen); and grandchildren, Scarlett, Everlee and Maggie Kisler, Alyvia and Asher Tamcke, and Remington Day.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 14, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, where family and friends will be received from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, September 13, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

I am very sadened by this news. Shawn and I we childhood friends. Although we did grow apart as the years went on, I often reflected on some of the fun times and fun things we did. Some we dumb things, but fun nonetheless. I will miss you Shawn. My sincerest condolences to Leona, Randy, Jeremy, and Rebecca.

I grew up in burley and Shawn was a old friend I remember riding around in the van he had and barbecuing at his house he was a good of mine condolence's to his family he will be missed
