Brian Golden Harper, 47, of Burley, Idaho passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Cassia Regional Medical Center. Brian was born on October 26, 1978, in Burley, Idaho, the son of Dale Harper and Janice Braun.

Brian attended the Idaho School of Deaf & Blind in Gooding, Idaho, where he graduated in May of 1997. He would then go on to serve an LDS mission for two years in Louisville, KY. On his mission, he met several people that became life-long friends.

Brian loved the outdoors. He loved camping with his family. Brian loved his family greatly. He especially enjoyed supporting his nieces and nephews in their many activities. He loved his country and supported all branches of the military. Due to his hearing loss, Brian was unable to serve himself. He had a great love of dogs and enjoyed having them around. He loved the gospel and had a great love for his Heavenly Father.

Brian is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, Ruben & Shirley Braun, and Golden & Nelda Harper. He is survived by his parents, Dale & Janice Harper, his sister, Jodi (Jason) Rogers, and his brother James (Mandy) Harper, his nieces Bailee Nye and Maryssa (Justin) Hutchinson, and his nephews Seth Nye, Mason Harper, and Morgan Harper. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 15, 2025 at 10:30AM at the Burley 1st Ward building at 2420 Park Ave in Burley, Idaho. Services will conclude with burial at Pleasant View Cemetery in Burley under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home.
