Shawn Thompson

Shawn Thompson, 57, of Sharpsville, PA, passed away on January 5, 2025, at UPMC Passavant - McCandless following a brief illness.
He was born in Sharon, PA on March 26, 1967, to Donald Thompson and Marjorie (Atwell) Thompson.
Shawn was married to Victoria (Smrekar) Thompson on September 30, 1995, who survives at home. They were married for 29 years.
Shawn graduated from Kennedy Christian High School in 1986. He worked at Sawhill for 19 years. In 2010, he began working at CCL Container where he was most recently employed. Shawn had a knack for all electronics, especially cell phones. He enjoyed baking Christmas cookies, going to car shows, and playing toy cars with his grandson, Erik.
In addition to his Mother, Marjorie and Wife, Victoria, Shawn is survived by: Two Daughters, Kayla Thompson of Corry, PA and Kathryn and her husband Michael Gifford, of Sharpsville, PA; Grandson, Erik Thompson; Sister, Dana and her husband Ron Seech, of New Mexico; Brother, Scott (Rachel) Thompson of Sharpsville, PA;
Shawn was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service for Shawn will be incorporated into the 10:45 am church service on Sunday, January 19th at Westside Baptist church in Sharpsville.
