Shayla Breeze Roberts was born in Abilene Tx. to David Roberts on July 30, 2004. Shay graduated from Cooper Highschool in 2022.
Shay worked for herself running a small business, Teeny Froggs, as well as making and selling merchandise for her band XCAPE, which she loved dearly. Shay loved her dog Piper so much and spent as much time as she could even when tired she’d just lay with her on the couch and nick named her ‘Pickle.’ Shay loved photography and was also photographing concerts as well as attending every show she could. Shay was an amazing artist and excelled in anything she put her mind to. She would make bracelets for bands and concerts and hand them out just for fun. She had a heart of gold and a light that shown so bright it touched the soul of everyone that met her. Aside from XCAPE she loved many bands including but not limited to My Chemical Romance (her favorite), Taylor Swift, Farewell to Fools, Prymer, Lost in Hollywood, SICTX, Metallica, Limp Bizkit, and so many others. Shay and her dad loved going to Record Guys and sifting through music often, it was her safe place when she was sick and needed out of the house but couldn’t be on her feet. Shay loved cars and motorcycles, especially Harleys. She will be missed by so many and never forgotten.
Shay is survived by Sister, Jazmyne Roberts: Brother, Korbyn Contreras: Father, David Roberts: Grandparents Frank and Patricia Landvatter, Hector and Sharon Contreras.
