Kay Musemeche, 69, of Stamford, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025. She was born on July 28, 1956, in Abilene, Texas, to Laverne and Charles Horn.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Laverne and Charles Horn; her brother, Charles Russell "Rusty" Horn and his wife Betsy; and her brother-in-law, Sam Peak.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Rick Musemeche; her daughter, Aprill Burrell and son-in-law Chad Burrell; and her treasured grandchildren, McKenna Dill, Ryker Dill, and McKayla Dill, and many special nieces and nephews, who brought immeasurable happiness and laughter to her life.

Kay's greatest joys in life were spending her days with her beloved husband Rick in their beautiful home, creating lasting memories with her extensive family, and caring for her pets. She created a loving sanctuary where family always felt welcome, and her devotion to those she loved defined her life.

A funeral service celebrating Kay's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Highway 277 South.

Kay's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, Rick suggests donations to the ASPCA in memorial of Kay.
