Sheila Fields Obituary
Sheila Faye Fields, born April 30, 1944, in Long Beach, California, passed the morning of the 23rd of April, 2020, after succumbing to pneumonia. She died while surrounded by her family and love ones at her home, quietly and gracefully. Sheila is an active 18 year member of Southside Baptist Church. She spent her working life as a certified nurse’s assistant, caring for the needs of others.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer Fields; her five daughters, Lelia and Gene Parish, Lora and Darren Gray, Dena McNabb, Sheila and Cameron McDonald, and Angela Francis; one son, Erick Fields; three granddaughters, Holly Geiling, Brianna McDonald, and Lilly Fields; seven grandsons, Steven Parish, Andrew Gray, Thomas McDonald, Cpl Hunter Gray USMC, Evan Fields, Tony Durst, Jr., and Wyatt Durst; and eight great grandchildren.
If we could give you one gift, it would be the gift of seeing yourself through the eyes of your loving children. Then you could truly realize how amazing you really are. We love you and miss your presence that is like the sky which spreads over everything, God keep you Sheila.
