Sheila had a heart full of love and a spirit that touched the lives of everyone she encountered. One of her greatest joys in life was being a grandmother to her grandchildren. She loved them to the moon and back and cherished every moment spent with them.

In addition to being a loving grandmother, Sheila had a zest for life. Sheila's love story with her significant other, Jerry Gradney, spanned 23 beautiful years filled with laughter, support, and unwavering companionship. Although Jerry has since passed away, their bond remains eternal.

She will be missed dearly by her daughters, Misty and husband, Jessie McCullough II of Oakdale, Ashley Hawkins and partner, Dustin Ortego of Turkey Creek, Tiffany Howell of Turkey Creek; ten grandchildren, Segan Clark, Jaylin Clark, Bladen Clark, Kamdon Ray, Karlee Ray, Lexi and Anna Hawkins, Jessie McCullough III, Jeslyn McCullough and Briggs McCullough. Also, left to cherish her memories is her aunt, Germaine Reed Larson.

Sheila is proceeded in death by her parents, Toland and Marjorie Fontenot; her loving companion, Jerry Gradney; her brother, Gary J. Fontenot and her sister, Mary D. Fontenot.
