Sheila Ann Garner Greaves, 54, was born November 22, 1968, in Texarkana to Eddie & Nelda Garner. She married Franklin Dale Greaves on June 13, 1987, in Lubbock and together raised three children, Dillon Greaves, Dawson Greaves, Jessica Greaves all of Shallowater. Sheila worked for many years at Walmart as an overnight manager and was well known for her Tamales and Enchiladas. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends often Barbequing, smoking briskets and ribs. Sheila was also fond of doing crafts, taking photos and was passionate about Native American culture and their music. More than all, Sheila loved spending time with her family and her spirit will be felt always for she’s at peace in her forever home.
On April 29, 2023, Sheila was called home. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband and children; her mother, Nelda Garner of Lubbock; a sister, Cheri Burton of Shallowater; one grandchild, Luke Pena of Shallowater and two nieces, Brianna & Hailey Burton.
She is preceded in death by her father, Eddie Garner (Sept 4, 2022)
A graveside service will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, May 6, 2023, in The Idalou Cemetery Chapel located in Idalou, Texas. All arrangements were made under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
