Sheila Lartice Nix was born to the late Jacqueline Nix and the late Jolly Williams in Tampa, Florida on June 20, 1985. Sheila attended Hillsborough County Public Schools, graduating with the class of 2004 from H.B. Plant High School. After graduating from High School, Sheila entered Massage Therapy School and later changed her career to the medical field. Her passion was young children and elderly people.
Sheila worked as a day care worker for several day care centers throughout Hillsborough County and later worked in the medical field as a CNA and Nurse Assistant for several Adult Day Care Centers and Nursing Homes. Her compassion for people was evident from her work ethic and she took pride in what she did. Sheila also took pride in understanding American Sign Language to communicate with one of her favorite cousins, Cherie Bush.
Sheila received the Lord as her savior at an early age and knew the bible. On Wednesday, January 1, 2025, Sheila entered eternal rest. Her faith was unwavering until the end.
Sheila was preceded in death by her mother Jacqueline Nix in 2003, father, Jolly Williams, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Sheila leaves to cherish her memories a brother Jonathan Nix (wife, Berlyn), niece, Joy Nix, nephews Jon'tae Nix, Trev'vion Nix and Nathaniel Nix, aunt Patricia Nix, Jacksonville, FL, uncle Joseph Powell, Sr (wife Paulette)., Biloxi, MS; Godmother, Sheryl Hicks-Kelly, God sister Alexia Buggs, God brothers, Jayswaun Sampson, and Myron English III; first cousins: Brian Newton (wife, Linda), Daryl Martin, Valerie Newton, Teresa Nix, Levan Burney, Jeanetta Piernas (husband, Sean), and Joseph Powell, Jr. Bonus Aunts: Cherlyn Levy, Derlyn Roberts and Millie Roberts along with a host of other relatives and friends.
