CENTREVILLE, VA-Sheila E. Sullivan, 61, formerly of Worcester died Tues., Dec. 21 in her home. She leaves two brothers, Paul J. husband of Patricia of Brattleboro, VT and Robert J. Sullivan of West Boylston; a sister, Geraldine A. wife of Richard A. O'Connor of West Harwich, one niece and five nephews.
She was born in Worcester daughter of Walter and Mary (Molloy) Sullivan and graduated from St. Peter's Central Catholic High School in 1961. She went on to graduate from Our Lady of the Elms College in Chicopee, MA in 1965 majoring in French and Spanish. During that time she also studied at the Sor Bonne University in Paris, France.
She began her career at Ascension High School in Worcester and continued teaching foreign language in high school for over 30 years in Fairfax County, Virginia where she also obtained her Masters Degree at George Mason University in counseling.
The funeral will be Tuesday, Dec. 28 from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St., W. Boylston with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales St., Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be Monday, Dec. 27 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
