Shelby Chialastri Obituary

Shelby was born on September 7, 1995 in Clinton, MD to Christine M. Cooksey and the late George M. Chialastri. Shelby loved her pets and loved painting. Shelby enjoyed baking, especially with her grandfather. Shelby also enjoyed tending to her garden, and spending time with her nephews, her niece and her goddaughter.
Shelby is survived by her mother, Christine Michele Cooksey, her sisters; Karen Cooksey of Harwood, MD, Betty and Brenda Chialastri, both of King George, Virginia, her grandparents, William and Lyn Jackman of Harwood, MD.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Shelby's life on Wednesday, August 18 from 2 pm until 4 pm and again from 6 pm until 8 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037 where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 11 am. Interment will follow at St. James Parish Cemetery, Lothian, MD.
Everyone is invited to the Corner Grill in Shady Side, MD immediately following the burial at the cemetery.
