Shelby Rose Pressley Spargo, 22, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022, in a Chattanooga hospital. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Cookson Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded death by her grandparents, J.C. and Mamaw Sue Crabtree and Lewis Pressley.
She survived by her loving husband and soul mate, Philip Spargo; parents, Donnie Pressley and Betsy Jones Pressley of Cleveland; and her sister and best friend, Kelsey Pressley of Chattanooga; grandparents, Papaw Drew and Mamaw Linda Smith, and David Jones; mother-in law, Tammy Jones and husband Chris; father-in-law, John Spargo; special cousins, Jacob and Bryann Pressley and Jeremy Pressley; little cousins, Hayden, Madlynn, and Beau Pressley; special uncle, Danny Pressley; and many more uncles, aunts, cousins, family, and friends.
A celebration of her life will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2022, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Tracy Fansler officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Interment will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with Jacob Pressley, Jeremy Pressley, Stephen Spargo, James Reed, Clarence Wright, Ander Jones, and Danny Pressley serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 12 p.m. to go in a processional to the cemetery.
